In response to the social background in which sponsor companies of FlutterKaigi are striving to hold study sessions as related events, this article provides guidelines for organizing such related events for those organizers.
The FlutterKaigi Executive Committee has held the conference “FlutterKaigi” every year since the first event in November 2021. As the scale of the conference has grown, we have received more inquiries regarding the use of the name “FlutterKaigi” and related study sessions and events. Therefore, we have decided to establish these guidelines.
The following guidelines apply to the use of the name FlutterKaigi. These guidelines may be changed without prior notice in order to prevent trouble.
As a prerequisite, only companies that have sponsored the conference in the given year are allowed to hold related events for FlutterKaigi. Under this premise, we would appreciate it if you could review the following checklist when organizing your related event.
When using the name FlutterKaigi, please pay attention to its notation. Variations are not allowed.

Flutter Kaigi : There is a space between Flutter and KaigiFlutterkaigi : The “k” is not uppercaseflutterkaigi : The “f” and “k” are not uppercaseFlutterKaigi2026 : There is no space between FlutterKaigi and 2026ABC Inc. x FlutterKaigi : Expressions implying a partnership are not allowed (unless there is a special partnership)To avoid misunderstanding by those considering participation in the event, be sure to clearly state the relationship with FlutterKaigi. This must be placed in the first view of the event page or at the top of the event announcement.
Example:
This event is organized (co-organized) by Company A (and Company B, Company C), which sponsors FlutterKaigi 2026.
As in the example above, clearly state both the fact of sponsorship and the organizer. However, the period during which a sponsorship event can be held is within the fiscal year. (For FlutterKaigi 2026 sponsorship, related events can be held until March 31, 2027.)
You may also use the FlutterKaigi logo to indicate the fact of sponsorship.
Sponsor companies may use the FlutterKaigi logo when holding events. However, modification of the FlutterKaigi logo is prohibited.
The FlutterKaigi logo is intended to be used for the purpose of communicating the fact of sponsorship. Do not use it for other purposes such as creating original goods.
In any event, please avoid negative expressions toward the community or speakers, as well as expressions that may cause misunderstanding that event organizers, speakers, or sponsor companies are involved in the operation of FlutterKaigi.
The above examples illustrate the philosophy of FlutterKaigi. However, it does not mean that anything not listed above is automatically acceptable.
In all cases, please carefully read the guidelines (including clearly stating the relationship with FlutterKaigi as described in section 2, and not limited to this) so that your event is not mistaken for an official FlutterKaigi event.
